Before getting on board with Brodie & Adam, I thought I knew a lot about nutrition and training... However, time and time again, I would find myself falling off track, stacking on a significant amount of weight, and having no triggers to get me back on track until... I stood on the scale. After looking at the number, I always thought, "How did I get here again...?" I would make drastic changes and smash myself at the gym and running, eat a strict healthy food-only diet, lose weight, and continue the cycle.

I have now spent just over 3 months training with Adam as my 1:1 coach, and I have realised that although you need to put the effort in the gym, the actual hard yards are done out of the gym, and that means so much more than just what goes in your mouth. He has taught me so much about the pillars contributing to overall health - Sleep, Nutrition, Recovery, Training, and Digestion.

Taking the leap to start with an online coach was something other than what I was super comfortable with; I had my reservations, thinking that a coach in person would be able to provide me with more benefits and a more personal experience. This reservation was thrown out the window in week 1 when we had our first Zoom check-in, and Adam took the time to understand me, my life, and my goals.

Every week since then, we have a Zoom call or a personal video message he sends me after a series of in-depth questions. The whole process has felt highly personalised and has far exceeded my expectations.

When I first started, I weighed in at 94kg, and to date, I weigh 78kg, all in 13 weeks!

But although the number sounds impressive, what I have gained is much more than just the weight I lost. My knowledge of nutrition and training has completely changed, and I now understand how to adapt my calories to my training and how to eat the best to align with my training goals.

I am the happiest, healthiest version of myself I have ever been.
